SLIM STYLUS

With this well-made hardware, you can create an attractive, durable pen. High-quality platings yield a crisply detailed, uniform surface and a precise fit between parts, combining ease of assembly with trouble-free function.

This starter set includes all the components needed (except the wooden blank) for making a slim pen with a built-in 1/4" (6.35MM) diameter silicone-rubber stylus at the finial (replacement tips available). Used to operate touch-screen electronics, a stylus permits greater precision than a fingertip (and won’t smudge the screen). A simple design, the pen operates with a half-twist and requires a Cross-style refill. The gold finish includes small amounts of cobalt and palladium for abrasion resistance.

Requires a 7mm drill bit and minimum 1/2" × 4 1/4" blank (12 x 110mm)  Drill bits, blanks, bushings and mandrels sold separately. Because mishaps can occur during turning or assembly, we offer brass replacement tubes.

We also offer a starter set that consists of two pen kits in a gold finish, bushings and the required drill bit.
