Self-centering, hinge drilling bit

The spring-loaded guide bush is inserted into the screw hole of a hinge or fitting. This automatically centres the HSS core bit in the screw hole. In no time at all you have an accurately centered core hole, which allows you to fasten all types of fittings quickly and easily with no shifting and no grain following with awls. With standard 1/4 inch, hexagonal detent, shank bit shaft.

Boreholes either 2.0, 2.75 or 3.5mm, overall length 93 mm, cutting length 14 mm.
