Description

VERITAS - These carefully manufactured chisels combine quality, functionality and design. The 61-63 HRC hardened blade made of PM-V11 steel (Powdered Metallurgy) is entirely hardened to the shoulder and flatted at the edge of the stainless steel ferrule to make extra deep chiselling possible.
With its ultra-fine and homogeneous material structure and extreme hardness, this steel has double the edge life of A2 steel.
Made in Canada to inch dimensions so stated mm widths are nominal.
  • Impact resistant, polished handles made of stabilised Canadian maple.
  • Flattened handle outline for secure hold
  • Solid stainless steel ferrule at the handle edge
  • Accurately polished back
  • Micro bevel of 2°
  • Bevel angle for best edge life for wide blades 25°, for slim blades 30°, additional microbevel for all widths 2°
  • Maximum chisel depth 130 mm for wide blades (½ / ¾ / 1 inch)
  • Maximum chisel depth 115 mm for slim blades (⅛ / 3/16 / ¼ / ⅜ inch)
  • Blade length 100 mm
  • Overall length 245-260 mm
