This is one of the best tie-downs we’ve tried. It contains no moving mechanisms to fail or jam, and you can quickly set the length and tension needed with just a one-handed pull, then lock it down by slipping the free end into the toothed cleat.

The braided polypropylene rope will not stretch, slip or loosen in use, and releases instantly with a tug on the free end. The cleat is made of glass-reinforced nylon.

The smaller model comes with 12' (300mm) of 1/4" (6.35mm) diameter rope - 150 lb (68kg)  max. load); the heavier-duty model comes with 10' (3 metres) of 3/8" (10mm) diameter rope - 300 lb (136kg) max. load).

In addition to tie-down use, each can also serve as a pulley for manually raising, lowering or dragging heavy loads.
