Note this 0.7mm blade clamp version has a through slot for the blade and does not have a rotating pawl at the point of contact on the blade and should be left retained but not restrained while machine is operating in common with standard key fastened clamps. Item Code S6846, on the other hand, does have a rotating pawl at the point of bearing on the blade end and can be operated clamped securely down by the top thumb screw on the front of the top arm.
