Threaded solid brass insert which has a right hand, wood style, outer thread and a standard machine thread inside. Typically used when machine screws or bolts are used as connectors rather than wood screws. Offers knock-down ability. Has a slot for a screwdriver for insertion but best seated using an appropriate size machine screw or bolt with backing nut and washer as a mandrell. Dimensions table pictured at left. USA made.
